This white paper presents the findings of a prospective, randomized, controlled, three-arm clinical trial involving 300 adults with subclinical cardiac energy deficiency, chronic fatigue, and reduced endurance. Participants received either Cardiotrition® Booster, CoQ10 monotherapy, or placebo for 60 days.
Cardiotrition® Booster combines Coenzyme Q10, Acetyl L-Carnitine, and Alpha-Lipoic Acid to address multiple aspects of mitochondrial dysfunction simultaneously. The intervention achieved a 182% increase in ATP regeneration compared with 58% for CoQ10 alone and 21% for placebo. Significant improvements were also observed in mitochondrial membrane potential, ATP/ADP ratio, cytochrome c oxidase activity, antioxidant capacity, exercise performance, and fatigue reduction.
The study demonstrated marked reductions in oxidative stress biomarkers, enhanced mitochondrial efficiency, improved six-minute walk test performance, and substantial decreases in fatigue scores. Cardiotrition® consistently outperformed both CoQ10 monotherapy and placebo across all primary and secondary endpoints while maintaining an excellent safety and tolerability profile.
These findings support a multi-targeted mitochondrial bioenergetic approach as a superior strategy to single-agent supplementation for improving cardiac energy metabolism, endurance, and overall mitochondrial function.
